Alice Welsh Strawbridge

Alice Welsh (1848-1925) was a daughter of John Welsh, a distinguished Philadelphian who became Minister to England late in his career and also had an important leadership role in the creation and operation of the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition in 1876. Alice married Dr. George Strawbridge in 1873. Several letters written by Alice to her sister, Anna Maria Welsh, appear elsewhere on this site. Here is a link to the earliest of those letters.
