Inside a copy of the Maris family history book printed in 1885, I found this reproduction of the Welsh family tree, with a caption saying it was drawn by John Welsh, who lived from 1770-1854. (He was the father of the John Welsh who lived from 1805-1886.) Copies of that family tree evidently were distributed to the guests at the Welsh family reunion, held at “Spring Bank” in Philadelphia on October 17, 1936.
