This old family photograph is labeled on the back as “Uncle Tom Stokes.” I believe this is the Thomas Stokes who married Ellen Welsh, a daughter of John Welsh (1805-1886) and a sister of Alice Welsh Strawbridge. He lived from 1843-1918.
